MLK DAY of Service at Urban Promise (re-scheduled from February)
Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Back on the calendar after previously cancelled due to inclement weather! We are working with Urban Promise of South Camden to do a work day on their main campus (3700 Rudderow St., Pennsauken, NJ) in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Kids are welcome, and dress warmly as there may be some outside work! Please try to arrive between 8 and 8:30 am (with light breakfast to be served then), and because parking is a bit limited, carpooling is recommended. Starting around 8:30am, there will be a short welcoming program, after which groups will be sent off to their projects. Projects should wrap up around 12:30pm. Sign-up here!
